The Manchester building that is home to one of the UK’s largest indoor cranes is for sale.
Specialist property consultancy, Davies Harrison has been instructed to market a 73,000sq ft warehouse at the Vaughan Industrial Estate in the east of the city at West Gorton, Manchester.
The self-contained facility, which can be sub-divided, is also home to one of the largest overhead cranes in the UK with a 100 tonne capacity.
The building, which is owned by T&M Property Investments Ltd and was previously occupied by Cranes UK Limited, is available on a leasehold or freehold basis from £3.75 per sqft and £40 per sq ft respectively.
Rick Davies, Partner at Davies Harrison, said: “There is a distinct lack of buildings that are able to supply cranage facilities and this building provides three cranes from 25 tonnes to 100 tonnes. Together with its 11m eaves height, it is ideal for engineering or distribution and we have already had strong interest from both the manufacturing and distribution sectors.”
