Temporary staffing app Syft has been announced as the sponsor for the Technology Innovation Large and SME categories for this year’s edition of The Logistics Awards.
Syft specialises in helping people find part-time work across London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Leeds in industries including warehousing and distribution, as well as restaurants, catering and hospitality venues.
Both Technology Innovation categories will be one of the most competitive awards to win on the night, with retailers John Lewis and Sainsbury’s competing in the Technology Innovation Large category along with parcel carrier Hermes.

Bathroom4less, working with warehouse marketplace platform LogistCompare, has been confirmed as a finalist for the SME award, along with Winterbotham Darby, in coordination with supply chain solutions experts FuturMaster.
Contenders for both Tech Innovation prizes will need to demonstrate deploying technologies or systems that have enabled an operation to significantly improve efficiency, accuracy, communication, productivity, visibility, accountability or profitability.
The Logistics Awards is an annual celebration of excellence in the logistics and supply chain sectors. In association with SHD Logistics magazine, the awards recognise the most impressive achievements throughout the industry over the last 12 months.
This year's event will take place at The Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe, in London on Thursday 20th September 2018.
