Currently employing 175 people in Europe, eLab serves as a creative hub to deliver content, designs and digital marketing for AS Watson. It is also responsible for managing the technology platform that powers the group’s online businesses.
AS Watson said the new staff will help strengthen its tech skills across its global business units in China, Hong Kong, Milan and London. While 150 of the roles will be based in Milan and London, 50 will be spread across Asia.
The positions include opportunities for developers, business analysts and coders who will build on the analytics, surveys, digital analysis and social listening tools that enable AS Watson to stay close to its customers.
