NEW ORLEANS, LA, October 25, 2016 /Manufacturing PR News/ -- The 10 Significant Boats of 2016 have been announced by the editors of WorkBoat magazine. The owners, builders and designers of the vessels will receive special recognition during an awards breakfast on Thursday, Dec. 1, at the International WorkBoat Show. At the end of the breakfast program, the 2016 Boat of the Year will be chosen from the 10 winners.
"The editorial staff reviews scores of boats that appeared in the magazine during the previous 12 months," said David Krapf, editor in chief of WorkBoat magazine. "Of these, the editors choose 10 that deserve special recognition and one of the 10 will be chosen as the 2016 Boat of the Year."
Krapf said that some of the boats are chosen for design or technological advances, while others are selected for speed, style, and uniqueness.
