A proven roadmap for Industry 4.0 and Connected Manufacturing is beginning to emerge, says Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE).
A theme is emerging among manufacturing leaders when it comes to digitising while maintaining multiple generations and lifecycles of technology, according to enterprise technology company Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE).
“Manufacturers have lots of experience and skill in managing technologies across different generations, legacy, state of the art, and are now adding the next element, digital technology”, says Martin Rainer, VP and GM of manufacturing industry for Hewlett Packard Enterprises.
Embracing and integrating multiple sources of data, such as machine to machine and sensor data, and making it available in real time in order to improve processes is the real power of data.
“Based on our learning, we have figured out some key success factors have developed a standard method or recipe to initiate and gain traction with the digital agenda”, Martin explains.
