Matchback lands NYK

MatchBack Systems is saving money for NYK with its SaaS platform to improve container logistics.

US-Based MatchBack Systems, Inc. has announced that NYK Line (North America) joined the company’s customer base on March 1, 2017.

Matchback is a software as a service (SaaS) solution to plan, optimize and automate ‘matchbacks’ -  the process of matching import containers and export bookings inland to minimise trucking miles.

“We put MatchBack Systems through a gruelling review process,” said Dan Sheehy, Vice President for North America Operations for NYK Line. “The service works. We realized savings in the first month of operations and it’s been growing ever since.”
